Publication of the conference report of the 9th International Sustainability Leadership Symposium

The report of the 9th International Sustainability Leadership Symposium, which took place on September 10-11, 2008 at the Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue in Rüschlikon, Zurich, is now available at http://www.sustainability-zurich.org/natural-resources.

It summarizes the findings of the conference at which some 180 participants discussed the topic of «Capitalising on Natural Resources: New Dynamics in Financial Markets». Among the speakers were Lord Nicholas Stern, author of the «Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change», Hans-Bernd Menzel, CEO of the European Energy Exchange, and Achim Steiner, Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme.

The 10th International Sustainability Leadership Symposium 2009 will take place on September 10-11, 2009. The Symposium topic will be looking at regaining trust in the financial markets through long-term ownership structures and corporate governance.
